"This company has the worst roadside assistance service you can ever get. l had a car crash on the highway and had them come and pick it up they decided that they would not tow the car and wouldn’t give me any information on where the car was. Their towing companies that they outsource denied anything to do with the situation, on top of that they don’t speak any English and they could not communicate with me. Also, when I first got my insurance with them, my car broke down within a couple days and they decided they didn’t want to tow my car because there was a startup time on the roadside assistance. I still do not know where my car is. Also My sister had to wait multiple hours for her car to get towed on the side of the road. Not caring that she is alone and stranded. They are a horrible company. This just shows that they don’t care about their customers and are only in it for the money. If you really wanted to assist people who have crashed and could be seriously hurt you would actually “assist” them.There are many out there that need your support and cost way less and/or provide a better service."
"Hello, I can’t tell if you are a customer of my office or not, but I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience with your towing company. I would like to explain to you in more detail how your coverage works. When you file an emergency road service claim, we simply pay the bill for the tow or service on your behalf. Unlike other companies who force you to use their pre-selected list of service providers, we allow you to use any provider, shop, or contractor of your choosing. Once you have selected someone, we notify them that they can send the bill to us and we will take care of it. If you do not know which company to choose or you are in an emergency situation, we simply geo locate you and call the closest company to your physical location and ask them to go get you. We would never force you to use a company of our choosing, for this exact reason. I would strongly suggest contacting the company who handled your road service situation and make your complaint with them. I would also like to know who it was so I am sure to skip them on the list in the future, if someone asks me to look up who is closest to them. I do, however, appreciate you also sharing your story here as I think it will be a good educational tool for people in the future who also might not be aware of how their insurance coverage works.
